Ok! i have been doing with heavy weights for my shoulders for the past 2 weeks on my friend"s advice!!
but started to feel some pain.so i have decided to use medium weights.Will medium weights help me to get that canon ball shoulder?
If so how many reps and sets I should aim for?

hypertrophy (thats when the muscle grows) is best attained at a weight that you can do no more than 6-10 reps. working out heavy ( 5 reps or less) will build strength. over 10 reps will build muscular endurance. 6- 10 reps is where most bodybuilders stay. also to get big you cannot forget to eat. the guys you see on tv didn't get that way by weights alone. eat big, work out hard, and you will reach your goal.

Reply:You can get your shoulders tone with medium weights by doing reps in the 10-12 range, however you won't get big anytime soon from doing "medium" weights
try getting a membership to your local gym, working out at your school/colleges gym, or getting new weights if your goal of "canon ball shoulders" is important to you
