Know any names of small woody plants that produce medium oval white fruit or berrys?

know any names of small woody plants that produce medium oval white fruit or berrys that start out dark pink and turn out white..with a like ...grapey smell... and i went to look at the inside of one when it was white and it seemed to have a hard seed like thing in it...witch was large. we have some growing in our yard and we have no clue what they are!

Lilly-pilly trees have white or pink berries the size of cherries. The leaves are shiny and the flower is a tuft of yellow stamens similar to a gum-tree flower. If that's it, you can eat them. It's called Acmena, a native tree in the Eugenia group.

You say, it contains only one hard seed, therefore it should be a stone fruit and the following link shows a pink, oval stone fruit, which turns white, when ripe:
