Where does one buy Medium-density fibreboard?

Some one suggested using Medium-density fibreboard to make a doll house for my daughter.... where can I buy this material?

Where does one buy Medium-density fibreboard?
It is available at lumber yards and stores like Home Depot. I buy mine most of the time for Home Depot.

It is NOT the same as particle board. There is a big difference. MDF is much smoother and when painted looks just like wood.
Reply:Stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. It's also known a particle board.
Reply:medium density fiberboard isn't the same as particleboard, and as a general rule you will have to buy it at a place that supplies material for cabinet shops, since i don't know where your located i would suggest calling your local cabinet shop and ask them ., they might even sell you some if they have it. should be about 25 to 30 $ a sheet. also comes in different thickness, 1/4,1/2 3/4
