Taking a medium van/truck from Spain to UK. What is the cheapest ferry or way to get there?

In a few weeks time I'll have to relocate from Madrid to Cambridge, UK. My vehicle will be a medium truck (about 7 meters). What will be the cheapest company to rent the truck and the most convenient ferry to take?

Date is not important.

Why would someone buy a dozen "medium" eggs instead of "large"?

I always notice that there are different sizes of eggs at the store, but they are the same price. Why do people buy medium when they could just buy large?

Why would someone buy a dozen "medium" eggs instead of "large"?
This depends upon several things, recepies mostly. Some people prefer the smaller variety in their cooking as the texture of the finished product is varied with the size of the egg.

Also, for some, a single (large) egg is not enough for the breakfast serving but a two large are. By using medium eggs, they can cook two eggs and have the preferred portion.

Hope this clears it up!
Reply:They are different prices at my grocery store. There's also a portion/calorie issue.
Reply:Eggs where I shop vary in price according to size. If all eggs were the same price, I'd buy jumbo.
Reply:They differ in price at my store. I suppose if they were the same price, and I was on a diet, I might get the smaller eggs to cut back a little. I suppose I could leave a little of the "large" egg on my plate, but who does that? You eat the whole egg.
Reply:I believe it has something to do with the size of the yolk.
Reply:I always buy large and was wondering the same thing a few days ago. Maybe people buy them because some recipes call for medium eggs as oppose to large. People may also buy them so they don't eat as much egg because they are on a diet or for some other reason. Thats everything I came up with!
Reply:Most recipes call for a 30gm egg which is a medium
Reply:Most places the prices vary from size to size. Some people might just prefer a smaller egg.

An index of refraction less than one for a medium would imply that?

A)the speed of light in the medium is greater than the speed of light in vacuum.

B)the speed of light in the medium is the same as the speed of light in vacuum.

C)refraction is not possible.

D)reflection is not possible.

An index of refraction less than one for a medium would imply that?
A
Reply:(C) is the answer. Some plasmas have an index of refraction less than one. We recently worked a problem where the ionosphere had an index of refraction - for certain frequencies - of 0.8.

Because the index of refraction is less than one, *any* angle of incidence is the critical angle, leading to total internal reflection. Thus, refraction is not possible and all waves reflect.

Again, this is just for a certain frequency range.
Reply:Well, since the index of refraction for vacuum is defined as 1, then B cannot be true.

Furthermore, since refraction is a result of the change in speed when light moves from one density to another, there's no reason that reflection or refraction could not work just because one of the densities was less then that of vacuum.

So D and C can't be true either.
Reply:Refractive index of air or vaccum is one.

It is the least refractive index possible.

So answer is C.

If u have doubt about that ,check what u have studied..

How do you label what medium you used, if the project is a photo?

i'm working on my portfolio for college and I really need to know what medium a photograph uses..

I don't know if just saying I used a camara is alright...

How do you label what medium you used, if the project is a photo?
The camera is NOT the medium. That's what you used to make the photograph, and the photograph is the object, but the MEDIUM is what it's "made of".

b%26amp;w print made in the darkroom: gelatin silver print

b%26amp;w print made at a commercial lab: chromogenic print

color print made in the darkroom or at a commericial lab: chromogenic print

Digital print: digital inkjet print or digital laser print
Reply:It depends on how detailed you are wanting to go. If you just want to show the difference between a painting and a photo, just label them accordingly. If you are trying to show the differences between photographs you can always just say, 'digital print' or 'b%26amp;w/colour film print'

Although if you want to reference your photographs properly then there is a system to use.

Your Name,

Tiitle, Year of completion.

Dimensions,

Medium,

When referencing you images properly like this, you should also try and be as presice as you can be about you images. If it is a hand-printed black and white image on fiber-based paper, list it as a Silver Gelatin Print, many colour prints from negatives are referenced C-Prints. If you have any digital prints label them as Digital Inkjet Prints

Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about it. They'll be more interested in the content of the work rather than how it's described. You can always learn how to do that when you get into college.
Reply:just saying photography should be good enough unless you are doing it with something strange.
Reply:photography
Reply:typically people will put two sometimes three things.

1.) type of camera used

2.) type of film

and sometimes.... 3.) any special processing techniques used.

1 and 2 should suffice. I only ever use 3 if I am really proud of a trick I used while developing.

When is it safe for my veiled chameleon to start eating medium sized crickets?

Its a female and from nose to base of the tail she is about 4.5 inches. I just dont know when to put her on medium sized crickets cause my first chameleon started them to early and she isnt around anymore and i have had this one for about 3 months and she is about 6 months old and i want to have for a long time. Also is there anything else i should start feeding her.

When is it safe for my veiled chameleon to start eating medium sized crickets?
A good rule is to feed nothing that is larger than the space between an amials eyes (this may be more difficult to judge on a chameleon!). I'd still keep one that size on 1/2" crickets. And even though crickets are the most easy thing to feed, you want to make sure your chameleon is getting adequate nutrition by varying the diet. The easiest thing to do here is to vary what you're feeding the crickets before you give them to the chameleon. This link has a good method for gutloading: http://www.kingsnake.com/rockymountain/R...

Also, even though she may not be too interested yet, it's a good idea to offer her a leafy green every once in a while. If you use a dripper method for giving her water, you might place the leaf so that the water will drip onto it for her to get a drink. Eventually, she'll start nibbling some plant matter herself. Continue to dust crickets with calcium powder (no vitamin D3 if you have her under UVB - too much D3 will be toxic) and a multivitamin powder.
Reply:The general for bearded dragons is crix no bigger than the space between their eyes. I'm not sure if it applies to chameleon however. Otherwise, I dont know to much about them, but mybe some super/meal worms, silkworms, ect.

Hoped that helped a bit, sorry.
Reply:The rule of thumb is that the size of the prey should be about half the size of the head of your animal.
Reply:IT IS CORRECT THAT U SHOULD NOT FEED FOOD ITEMS LARGER THAN THE GAP BETWEEN THE EYES EVEN THO CHAMELEONS CAN EAT LARGE FOOD ITEMS IN COMPARISON TO THEIR BODIES.

HOWEVER, KEEP OFF ANT MEAL WORMS TILL SHE HAS ALMOST REACHED MATURITY, THE BOTTLE TO DIGEST THE EXO SKELETON........ WHICH IS A BAD THING.
Reply:the way to make Sherie is to go to a pet shop and ask them but they may say you can feed them medium crickets Any time my is the same sized and it eat the medium crickets.

a medium or small. if you like your stuff big get a meduim, but if you like your stuff tight and small get a small.
Reply:If you go on abercrombie.ca and you look at their clothing, ther's a sizee chart with measurments so u can measure yourself and it will tel you your size

but if you don't want to go on their website you'd prop. be a medium there 2

hollister and A%26amp;F are owned by the same company so they have similar styles.

I am hosting a medium sized party in a small space...?

I really only have 2 medium sized rooms to host my families annual Christmas Party.

Do you have any suggestions?

Internet sites to visit?

Helpful hints?

My goal is comfort. But an easy flow for eating, mingl-ing, small children, and the least amount of stress...

I am hosting a medium sized party in a small space...?
Have an open house or progressive dinner! This will cut down on the wear and tear at your place and let everyone participate in the fun! Not going to happen? Here are some suggestions:

1. Set up a buffet that folks can serve themselves using your kitchen or kitchen counters.

2. Keep seating minimal

3. Have a bedroom available for the little kids to play in while the grownups eat and talk. You can have games set up, or a movie available for them to watch.

4. Create an annual family oriented task for members to engage in while at the party. An example would be to make gingerbread houses (one for each family) or paint nutcrackers, or a food drive for the homeless. Something that will get folks into the spirit of giving and having fun.

5. Serve punch instead of individual sodas etc.

6. Create a menu of large dishes that you don't have to keep filling. Or have a potluck wherein everyone brings their favorite holiday dish to share.

7. Have a dessert buffet instead of a meal

8. Soup?

Good luck!
Reply:remove bulky furniture and store some place you could do this about a week ahead of time (Including sofa). Don't move TV because this may be an entertaining source for the kids. Go to a local rental place and rent some chairs.
Reply:I would suggest having a buffet. Trying to have a sit down dinner will cause soooo much stress in a limited space. Also, get rid of as much "stuff" as you can. Store it in your bedroom/spare room, etc. Knick-knacks, end tables, etc, all take up room that you don't have (and are easy for kids to knock over-not having the "stuff" around helps the kids parent's not stress too). Use folding chairs scattered everywhere, and I also set up TV trays in corners so that they can be moved to where someone is sitting. I even move the recliners from my living room to the laundry room because 3 people can sit in folding chairs in the same spot that only 1 person can sit in a recliner.

For your own sake, I would recommend buying disposable sippy cups for younger kids. You can get 4 for less than $2. I then buy apple juice (It doesn't stain like red juice/punch) and give the kids their own sippy cups!!

Above all, get as much done as you can before the party and then relax and know that everyone is going to have a good time! (Make sure you enjoy yourself too!!)

Have a great holiday!!
Reply:go to the food network or recipe zaar they are great!!!
Reply:Have like couchs or chairs with coffee tables or end tables instead of a long table. Set up a buffet at the beginning of one room and then a drink buffet too...... hope u hav a good time! %26lt;3

25% of all dogs killed in our local shelters are perfectly good pure-breeds. Please visit petfinder.com to search for your new best friend! The small breed dogs are often relinquished by owners entering nursing homes, Paris Hilton wannabe's who have tired of their responsibility, people who are moving into rentals that don't allow dogs, etc.

Often, breed rescue dogs are already fixed, vaccinated, potty trained, behavior tested, etc. How awesome is that!

And because they are usually adults, you are assured of their size. I don't know how many 40 pound chihuahuas I see! The pet stores lie to make a quick buck!

I set it to high, save it, check it, says it is high. But sometime later (maybe after rebooting, maybe after signing off and signing back in) it reverts to medium. Windows XP Media Center Edition. And yes, I am a paid-up subscriber to the premium service.

What is a good oil painting medium which will leave a matte flat surface.?

I some times use a medium of 1 part damar varnish, 1 part stand oil, 5 parts turpentine and a little bit of cobalt drier.

I would like to find a medium which does not yellow, and drys relatively quickly. I am looking for a waxy/matte surface, which can still be translucent in layers.

What is a good oil painting medium which will leave a matte flat surface.?
If you want matte, try acrylic. They are more matte and you can mix in matt medium to make them even more matte.

for oil, maybe wax?
Reply:If you want to stick with oil investigate the paint brands; I have seen oil paint that had on it written “Matt” but this was a while ago.

Other then that, Try Acrylic!

I have used acrylic, it gets a matt finish. I use glycerin if I want any sort of glossy finish on it.

The acrylic you can layer like oil. If you get the higher quality acrylic’s they work pretty much like the oil paints in this way.

Higher end acrylic will NOT yellow (even the cheaper stuff wont yellow)

(Though yellowing could also could be a sign that there is other acidic contaminates around)

Acrylic also will dry much much faster then oil. You have to be careful when your first working with it because of this. You can use glycerin to slow down the drying and make it more oil like in it’s workability.

The stigma against Acrylic is not deserved because there is a huge difference in the art acrylic and the craft paint acrylic, and that’s what people are trying to stick there noses up at. If you got to the art section or an art store you will see the good acrylic there.

It’s, unfortunately, not really cheaper the oil.

So try it, you might be very happy with what you see!
Reply:if you use any type of dry medium (pastel, charcoal, graphite) you can always buy the Prismacolor Tufflim final fixative, which is available in a matte finish. You just add it evenly across a finished artwork and it leaves a great matte finish.

How to cook medium well steak?

How to cook medium well steak?
There you go, I like to use a little garlic salt, fresh ground pepper, and if you have a thermometer use that when you think it is done. 155 degrees is how I like it.

Use tongs, do not poke holes in the steak if possible to keep the juices in. Let rest 5 minutes before you eat.

Its dinner time,

Have a good meal.
Reply:dude, a real man doesnt cook to match a restaurant! a real man cooks from the heart. you smell your seasoning before you use it, your nose knows ;). then when you cook your steak you connect with it on a mental leval and it will tell you when its ready. it also helps to massage your steak (espeacially) the sirloin. massage it in something tasty like a 3:1 wine/beer mixture. with some seasoning of course!!! i hope you enjoy.....im gonna go make a steak now...byebye
Reply:Use a Meat Thermometer for an accurate measurement, this is how they probably do it to repeated perfection.

What do the numbers mean next to soft or medium on toothbrushes?

there are numbers near the soft or medium on toothbrushes. I was wondering what those numbers mean or what they are for.

What do the numbers mean next to soft or medium on toothbrushes?
It's the number of bristles on the brush - not how hard they are. The larger the number, the bigger the toothbrush. Aim for a smaller number, so you can get the toothbrush into all the spaces in your mouth. The larger the bristle part of the toothbrush is, the harder it is to clean your teeth. Always get a soft or medium brush - the hard bristles aren't as effective at getting between teeth and the gumline.
Reply:it is the diffrent stages on the soft or medium tooth brushes. For example, a 50 would be harder than a 39.
Reply:exactly what they said above...........it determines how soft or how hard the bristles are

What color of hair dye and who makes it, that would go well for someone with light to medium dark hair ?

Also, what is the latest hairstyle for someone with medium length hair? Please describe hairstyle in detail.

What color of hair dye and who makes it, that would go well for someone with light to medium dark hair ?
I love Feria dyes, they make my hair so many different colors that is shines and looks totally natural. I currently use a dark golden blonde that comes out kind of red on me. Hairstyle depends on hair texture, straight or wavy, etc. Personally I like long layers with sideswept bangs.
Reply:Depends on your hair texture, but a shag is always nice and versatile. As far as hair color, if your going to do it yourself check to see if there is a Sally beauty supply near you. The Ion coloring line is a great line and the same price as you would get at the drugstore and lasts longer with proffessional results.
Reply:first of all do not go out and buy hair dye and dye it yourslef or a have a friend dye ir for you that has no idea what they are doing, you should go to a professional hair salon and have a professional pick out a color and do it for you, that way you are sure it will turn out the way you want it. and as for the style, i would getlots and lots of layers and a side bang ! you will look great !

How much food should you be giving a medium size dog a day?

i have a medium size dog about the size of a staffi and would like to know if im feeding her enough, she gets 1 tin a day mixed with hanfful of dry food!

How much food should you be giving a medium size dog a day?
As others have suggested, it's well worth looking into feeding a high quality dry food diet, it is much better for them, particularly their teeth. You can also feed a raw meaty bone once per week (this was recommended by my vet for tooth care) You should be able to tell if your dog is eating the right amount of food; she should have a clearly defined waist and you should be able to feel her bottom two ribs.
Reply:sounds about right to me but you should check with your vet to make sure.

vets do recommend that you feed your dog dry food rather than tin food as it is nutritionally better for dogs.
Reply:I feed my staffie 8oz of dried food a day so what you are feeding yours sounds about right to me
Reply:I would read the back of the packets of dog food that you have . I have a 6 month old labrador and all the packets stated different things. It usually depends on the weight of the dog which to can be done free at the vets

my puppy is big for her age ive been told so I changed to large breed puppy food and now shes content after eating!!!

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR QUEST¬!
Reply:I own a british bulldog and she gets 1 tin of tinned food twice a day with dry food mixed in once in a morning and once in the evening i find that this keeps her a ta satisfactory weight and not like a beefcake!!!!

hope this helps
Reply:It sounds about right, if she is at a good weight, no fat you are feeding her the right amount.
Reply:i have a greatdane and he eats a large tin meat and a mop bucket of dryed food a day
Reply:no canned food,,,, feed high quality dry kibble per packages instructions ,, then adjust for your dogs activity level, metabolism etc.... your dog will not get the nutrition it needs from a handful of dry food.... canned food is mostly water.... please educate yourself

My hair is black & I want to dye it to a medium/dark brown, How can I do this without damaging or bleaching it

In the summer I bleached my hair about 4 or 5 times, and it damaged a lot, so then I dyed my hair black in august and I haven't dyed it since. So now I want my hair medium to dark brown, but I don't want to bleach it or damage it- barely at all. Cause my hair had horrible breakage and it thinned out, I also had bald spots, so Im really worried about using bleach on my hair. Is their anyway I can get my hair to medium/dark brown without bleaching my hair or using a color stripper. Ive tried some things from clairol and revlon to go from black to brown, but they didn't work. So if you know anything at all, please let me know.

My hair is black %26amp; I want to dye it to a medium/dark brown, How can I do this without damaging or bleaching it
Its harsh to try and do too many thing sto your hair at once. My advice is try a professional because they will know the next steps without damaging your hair. This is because hair dye can also cause scalp problems and kill your hair so the professional know the correct method to save you!! Hope this goes well
Reply:dont die your hair because then you wont have anything diff every body has brown hair and it would not look natural if you dont get a pro so dont
Reply:I used to dye and highlight my hair, and had the same problems that you have now. I talked to my hair stylist about it and she suggested for my next coloring appointment we try Revlon Shades. This product colors the hair, but doesn't penetrate as deeply as normal dye. Instead, it coats the hair follicles which allows it to stay healthier and stronger for longer. The one downside to this product is that it you can't lighten your hair after using it-unless you let it grow out. Also, they don't sell it in drugstores, so you will have to get it done. Before making an appointment, make sure that they have Revlon Shades available because not many stylists use it.

Good luck with your hair!
Reply:Some of the men's hair dye,s are less harsh on your hair.
Reply:You'd have to bleach it again to lift the color to med/dark brown you cannot use color to lift color. Since you've got some damage go to a professional colorist to see if they can help you. More than likely they'll do treatments on your hair to restore it from the damage before coloring your hair again.

Do NOT use over the counter colors or bleaches since you have serious damage.

Good luck hope this helped.
Reply:I think I've answered so many of these questions now and nobody seems to believe me. It really does work... L'Oreal Feria hair dye. I have naturally dark brown hair and with this dye I've been able to go light brown, red and even honey blonde in the past. My hair isn't damaged at all. Seriously, try it.
Reply:u need to pre lighten your hair first which there are some that dont contain bleach
Reply:I think home bleaching is very hit or miss and very likely to damage your hair. As you have already damaged it in the summer the only safe thing you can do is to let the present colour grow out. It will be quicker if you cut it short, which will also strengthen your hair. When your hair has recovered your best bet is to go to a good hairdresser, ask them what they think and get it done professionally. I hope all goes well, but, for goodness sake, don't be in too much of a hurry.
Reply:if you got colour still in your hair then you need a pre lightner if all your hair is natual then use a tint its simlple as that im the best at colouring hair
Reply:You should really see a professional colorist. You may need to get your hair back into shape before using any more harsh chemicals on it. Good luck!
Reply:I just did this recently, and I ruined my hair. Your best bet is to bite the bullet and spend $100 + to get it taken care of professionally. Either that, or go to a beauty supply store and ask one of the clerks what you can buy and do yourself. Good luck!
Reply:Hi im sorry but im i the same boat as you i use to bleach my hair loads and had to stop as it was doing exactly the same to me as it did to you. So i dye it dark and then i wanted it lighter an all the light browns kept turning it gingery so i then tried to belach it again and i ended up back at square one and i even went to the hairdressers and she made it worse and it cost me a fortune.

So the first thing i say to you is keep washing then the colour will fade and it will appear lighter. Have you tried the new hair dyes that lightened Darker hair. I think these are brilliant, its by feria and loreal do oneand they do lighten it alot and it doesnt go orange. So you wont have to bleach it and wreck your hair. You can use it on coloured hair also. Just look for the one that says lightening for dark hair. I think on the box there is a woman with light brown hair and there is a bit on the box that shows dark hair and says before and after and its the only hair dye you get the colour it says on the box. Its worth a try.

I had a hair disaster a few weeks ago i have coloured hair and is bleached and dyes over and over again and now it wont go blonde at all. So i stupid me decided i wanted to bleach the top and dye the underneath black, i was going to try the top first coz if it didnt go blonde i could of just dye over it but someone told me to dye the bottom half blacj first so i did, and guess what happend. The blonde didnt work out so i had to dye over it with a dark brown which is a light brown coz of the bleach and the underneath is black and i want rid of the black so i tried to blend it all in and it just wont cover the black so im stuck with it and there is no way im going to bleach it. Im going to keep washing it it has faded loads and it a dark brown now. Im washing with pantene which is good for striiping colour so its working.

Just try and put up with the colour if you can. It will fade evntually or let it grow out. It aint worth going back to square 1

Reply:There isn't a way around not damaging your hair when it comes to coloring or any processing. The best thing for your hair would be to go to a professional and have them color it for you. They can make suggestions on shampoos and conditioners that will repair your hair after it's been colored. I know this is the more the expsensive route but it's the best thing for you hair and your peace of mind. Good luck!
Reply:color doesn't lift color. Basically, if you color your hair black and then put a box color that is lighter over it, it will not lift. That's just the way it is. You have to use a lightener to remove the black. I would suggest is giving your hair deep conditioning treatments for two weeks, lift the color to orange (yes, you need the red pigment for the brown to not turn green or grey) and then put the brown on over it. That should work. Your hair will be dry but getting trims every four to six weeks will keep it healthier and the split ends under control. Natural hair dyes contain henna and chamomile. Those DO NOT lift and you can only CUT the color out. In fact, a perm will not take in hair colored with henna. It forms like a coat of armor over the hair shaft. Just stay away from "all natural" cause once it's on, it's on.

Do medium sized rats in the petstore grow?

in the pet store thet have medium and small sized rats. Does this mean the rats are babies or are they not going to grow into normal sized rats?

Do medium sized rats in the petstore grow?
Yes. Al rats will grow to be roughly the same adult size, no matter how large they are in the display cage. The sizes mostly vary with age, or species.

Harry: you have been reported twice now.
Reply:The rats that have labels like "jumbo" or "medium" are only a way to describe the current size of the rat. These rats are sold as food for people's snakes and reptiles, so the size is a way of identifying the amount of food the rat represents. But the smaller rats are just younger. Usually, those considered medium are in their adolescent stage.

Rats do not actually come in different sizes. All rats are rats, and are all the same size in adulthood. Obviously, since all are different, some will grow slightly larger or smaller than others, but they are still all the same type of rat.
Reply:Yes they grow into regular sized rats.

As sad as it is, stating them as 'small, medium, large' sized rats are just a sales gimick %26amp; for people who feed them to snakes.
Reply:Yes they grow and she is right there size is really showing there age!!!!!! i.e the smaller they are the younger they are, the bigger they are the older they are!!!!!!

Well done and medium rare cooked foods?

I am a Pakistani American and we eat well done meats. Most Americans eat medium rare. I think most Europeans eat medium rare also. What about other places like China and in Africa. How do they eat their meat? I have to do a report on this. I can't stand pink meat. People say it is juicy but all I see is mostly red that looks like blood.

Well done and medium rare cooked foods?
It's all down to personal taste, not where you come from. I'm British, so is my husband but I prefer steak well done and he likes his medium rare. I like leg of lamb with a hint of pink and he likes his well done.
Reply:Most african dishes are stews so that would fit into "fully cooked" category most times than not. Goodluck on your report :)
Reply:For beef, generally asians prefer well done but since majority are influenced by western culture, asians are starting to take medium rare too.

For chicken, there are asians that prefer their chicken dish to be prepared in medium and not well done. Westerners only enjoy well done especially when it is fried.

For fish, Asians especially Japanese love it raw. Westerners are learning to accept that but on the other hand also has plenty of excuses such as fishes contaminated with mercury and stuff.
Reply:Med to rare is the only way to eat beef. Close your eyes and eat it and therewill be no more well done for you.
Reply:You can look up Kobe beef which is japanese and it is sometimes cut thin and the slices are put into a hot broth which cooks it. But I wouldn't say most Americans eat their meat medium rare. But I have read comments from many on this site and a lot of people seem not to cook their meats well done. I am like you, if I see pink it goes back and anything I cook at home is well done. I have been to Africa and I ate a lot of chicken/Bird products, when I did order a steak, it came well done. Chinese food always seem to be done well. It could be the high heat of the wok that does this. Now that I think of it, I know a few people who even eat their meat rare, and that's with blood on the plate, I can't do it....not only because of the look I can actually taste that raw meat taste, not good to me at all. Good Luck.....
Reply:Silly attitude, pink meat is the best because it is the juiciest and most flavoursome, forget about the juice being blood and consider it juice from the meat and you will enjoy meat at it's best

how do you feel about Steak and Kidney pie, I am just about to make one of those, this is something that most of the world loves, and the majority of them are men -- they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!!!!!!!

You are missing a lot by not being adventurous with your meals, try

cheers
Reply:According to my experience, I think it all depends on how the animal is raised and prepared for.

1/ COMPLETELY RAW

Japanese takes raw beef and horse meat that are specially raised for this purpose

They even take raw chicken meat, not mentioning fishes and seashells.

2/ MEDIUM RARE

asian worlds, chinese and SE Asian who have been affected by the western culture will take medium rare Kobe from Japan, wagyu from australia and angus from USA in western restaurant. They won't accept medium rare if the beef comes from China or Vietnam. Even medium rare lamb chop from New Zealand and Australia is widely accepted.

3/ WELL DONE

- origin of meat: china or not specially rasied for medium rare cooking

- the cuisine: if it is meant for well done, then it will be well done. There is no meaning to have medium rar for Indian tandoori or chinese stewed beef brisket.

- the way of cooking: for slow cooking, stew and soup, the best taste will come out from very cooked meat

Hope this helps.
Reply:Third world people eat overcooked meat because the sanitation and refrigeration needed to keep it fresh are lacking.
Reply:Well when it comes to ground meats I cook mine thoroughly ecoli lives on the cut surface of the meat. This is why all ground beef should reach an internal temperature of 165 to kill a the ecoli if contaminated. This is also why you can eat a steak medium rare. If you ever had a good cut of meat like fillet mignon cooked well done and one medium to well you might change your mind about how you like your meat cooked. I suggest that you try both side by side I would be surprised if you did not change how you have your meat cooked. I particularly like mine ran through a warm room.

How can we see through the interstellar medium?

How can we see through the interstellar medium?

How can we see through the interstellar medium?
I think there's another way of understanding your question. Perhaps you already know that interstellar space is virtually empty. But maybe you think light needs a medium to propagate, like sound. Sound waves don't propagate in a vaccuum, but light waves (and all forms of electromagnetic radiation) do. So that's how we can see through the 'medium' even though the medium is empty.
Reply:Because it is transparent, light travels thru it, anywhere light is, we can see.
Reply:Using all sorts of methods......from radio, to infra-red, UV, gamma rays, x-rays etc etc.....Any telescope which can use any part of the electromagnetic spectrum can see through the interstellar medium. And when one won't see through parts of it, then another using a different wavelength of EMR is used that can penetrate what they're looking at.
Reply:Because Interstellar Medium is sparse gas and dust located between the stars of a galaxy. It's like why water looks clear when its full of microbes. Losts of stuff in an even greater amount of space.
Reply:X-Ray Specs, from the back of old comic books.
Reply:With radio telescopes. Radio waves emitted from the core of our galaxy, for example, tell us what's there -- how dense the star clusters are near the core, how fast they're moving relative to us or to the core, and so on. The radio waves have no problem penetrating the interstellar medium because of their longer wavelengths. Sort of like sand through a spaghetti strainer. Radiotelescopes can receive and interpret these radio waves (i.e., light waves of a certain frequency). "Telescopes" built to detect x-rays also can map stuff through the interstellar medium, the same way, because x-rays also are able to penetrate all the dust and stuff that's out there.
Reply:I think the answer should be obvious... there is nothing in space to block our view of it, save stars, planets, galaxies and the like. And that's what we're looking at anyway. Space is not actually "black", it is just "light-absent" when we are not on the Sun side.
Reply:Because it is extremely thin. For all practical purposes it is a vacuum. Better than any vacuum we can make on Earth. There are a few atoms per cubic meter, but compared to Earth's atmosphere that is almost nothing.
Reply:There's nothing there to absorb the light waves.
Reply:dunno
Reply:What's the e-folding optical depth of interstellar space? A long ways, I bet.

What medium should I use to build a scale model?

I've been asked to make a scale model of this dudes backyard- he wants to use it to help him visualize some landscaping/renovating. i'm doing it in 1/4'' scale- not worried about that part. Im not sure what medium i should do this in. I was thinking Polymer clay might be the best....I want something that he can possibly manipulate a little. Is there any other good way to go about it? hmmm....

What medium format camera should i get for a beginner.?

i was wondering what medium format camera i should get. I dont want a holga or anything like that. I like having a full frame shot without that look of the lens around the edges of the picture. My max i would spend is about 200$. i heard that seagull's are no good at all. is that true?

What medium format camera should i get for a beginner.?
Yashica Mat-124 and Mamiya C220 or C330 are in your price range on eBay. All of these are great cameras to use and produce good quality images.

Here is another interesting find: http://cgi.ebay.com/RICOH-DIACORD-TLR-ME...
Reply:Lots of good medium format available, but in your price range you're best bet is probably a Yashica Mat 124 (or 124G). They are usually available in good condition at your price range (garage sales, Craig's List, eBay) Stay away from Seagull and Kiev--they're usable but often frustrating and fragile. I just checked eBay, and you may also be able to pick up a Mamiya C220 or C330 in your price range. They're TLR's with interchangeable lenses. I had an old C220 and it was a great camera.
Reply:I also think $200 is really cutting it too tight for MF. Perhaps you can find a good camera in that price range as some others have suggested, but I would sure have my doubts. MF is not a cheap road to take with photography. Even if you find a "cheap" camera, the price of film, processing, (or chemicals and time if you do it yourself), plus scanning if you want to go that route, really add up.

I love MF also. I use a manual 645 Mamiya, get film from B-H, and get processing and scans done at Chromatics in Nashville, Tn. If I want any large prints, I outsource that to either Chromatics, or Mpix, or Simply Canvas.

If you are a beginner as you say, I honestly think you need to take a long look at the total costs of MF film photography. I'm sure NOT trying to discourage you... I'm 100% for anyone not wanting to jump on the digital bandwagon crap.

... oh... by the way "pixelchiq".... there ARE other cameras in existence besides digital. Sheesh.

steve
Reply:Yashica made quite a few models and all of them are good. Look at the Yashica A, D, EM, Yashicamat 124, Yashicamat 124G. The seagull would be good enough, but it does not have the lenses that Yashica has.

I just bought a Yashicamat 124G and it is more fun than a barrel full of missionaries.
Reply:They are quite expensive--and I don't think you can get anything but a film holder (even that) for $200. I'm not talking about twin lens reflex.

Here is a search at B%26amp;H.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controll...
Reply:Yashica put out a very good medium format camera some years ago.I would look in pawn shops, and photo stores that sell used equipment.Mamiya is a bit more pricey but it has interchangeable lenses.
Reply:Honestly, I recommend the Canon Powershot S5 IS, even though it is more than $200. This is the camera I went with after reading myriad reviews (both from journalists and private citizens), and being advised by two professional photographers.

The S5 IS offers both automatic point-and-shoot photography and manual configuration. It has a wide range of aperture and shutter speeds. There is the ability to adjust the built-in flash, as well as provisions to 'grow' with the camera by adding lenses or more powerful flash accessories.

It's a heavy-ish camera at a little less than a pound, but the substantial mass of the camera, in my experience, helps a lot with image stability.

Is it possible to capture the sound procuded before it traverses through the surrounding medium?

When a person speaks, sound waves are generated and these traverse through the air or any other surrounding medium. This sound will be audible to others. Is it possible to stop the sound waves from spreading beyond a small radius using a small equipment? without using the the strict enclusures like sound proof walls etc.

Is it possible to capture the sound procuded before it traverses through the surrounding medium?
We can do this artificially using electronics.

Since electronic signals travel faster than sound it is possible to record something then produce an approximate opposite to the sound in order cancel out the waves of the original sound.

This is how noise canceling headphones work. They don't completely kill the noise but do reduce the amplitude significantly.

It is also possible to project the anti-sound to a location so it will hear a reduced amplitude using high directional speakers.

BOSE Scientists do a lot of research in sound and may be able to help you if you have a question.
Reply:If you are asking can the surrounding medium (like air) be "dampened" to prevent sound travel, yes, but the process would probably be noisier than the sound you are trying to stop.

A sound wave being propagated through the air will only be stopped by a wave or force which cancels out this vibration.

Anything that would cancel out a reasonable sound wave would not be possible with a "small piece of equipment". I guess the best option would be a "white noise" box. This would mask the sound and keep it from being understood, but it would not stop the sound.

Is it recommended for people with medium color skin to tan?

My skin is medium color, but underneath my clothes is lighter how do I even it out with out getting too dark?

Is it recommended for people with medium color skin to tan?
it is not good for anyone to tan it wrinkles the skin and causes cancer..use a self creme tanner like dove or olay they are great and no longer like the old ones that turn you orange, they are right with the regular creme..dove is in a tan colored bottle, use the one for your skin type.....no one should ever tan in a booth or the sun....the risks are not worth the results..////

Used medium ash blonde color on light brown hair and it came out reddish?

How do I get rid of the red and actually GET the medium ash blonde color?

Used medium ash blonde color on light brown hair and it came out reddish?
My natural color is medium ash blonde (although highlighted at this time). An ash hair color has some green it. Go to a good colororist at a good salon and have it colored there. Ask for help in coloring it yourself. Don't color it yourself until you have been to the salon, you don't want to overprocess it which can lead to hair loss, etc. Good luck!
Reply:I would bleach it, then tone it. You cant lift color using more color. Bleach will lift it more. If you do not like the result after bleaching, then tone it....

Where does one buy Medium-density fibreboard?

Some one suggested using Medium-density fibreboard to make a doll house for my daughter.... where can I buy this material?

Where does one buy Medium-density fibreboard?
It is available at lumber yards and stores like Home Depot. I buy mine most of the time for Home Depot.

It is NOT the same as particle board. There is a big difference. MDF is much smoother and when painted looks just like wood.
Reply:Stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. It's also known a particle board.
Reply:medium density fiberboard isn't the same as particleboard, and as a general rule you will have to buy it at a place that supplies material for cabinet shops, since i don't know where your located i would suggest calling your local cabinet shop and ask them ., they might even sell you some if they have it. should be about 25 to 30 $ a sheet. also comes in different thickness, 1/4,1/2 3/4

Should I use a lighter color if I want to dye black hair medium/dark brown?

Like if I buy a box of hair color that is literally medium or dark brown I know that it will turn out darker, because my hair is so dark. I was wondering if I should buy a hair color that is a few shades lighter than what I want, so it can lighten my hair enough. So if I wanted dark brown hair, I'd use a light brown hair color? Or if I wanted light brown, I'd use a dark blonde color?

Should I use a lighter color if I want to dye black hair medium/dark brown?
The drugstore type hair dyes will only change your hair color by up to 2 shades. Even if you used a blonde color it's not going to change it much, they don't have enough of the lighteners in them to make alot of change. (But be warned, depending on your hairs pigment you can end up with the color going more orange than brown no matter which one you choose.)

If your hair is naturally black and you want to go to a medium brown you are going to have to have your hair processed more radically. It involves stripping some color and adding back, a process to leave to professionals.

If you haven't dyed your hair before go with a semi-permanent product, they will wash out after about 20 shampoos so you are not stuck with a color you hate and give you an idea of what at home color can do for you.
Reply:if it's that dark, i don't know if you'd be able to just dye it, it of course depends on the product some of them do lighten at the same time, they tend to be professional ones.. most of the time if you want your hair lighter than it currently is it requires bleach first.. most of the time
Reply:I use light brown hair dye since my hair is naturally black and I wanted to lighten it. I wanted to only lighten just a tad bit and not too much or dramatic like all of a sudden going blonde. So, if you wanna go lighter just a tad bit and not too much, I suggest you either use light or medium brown. If you use light brown, only leave the dye on your hair for about 25-30 minutes. If you use medium brown, leave it a little longer for maybe about 30-40 minutes. The longer you leave it, the lighter it will get. But don't leave it too long either. Time yourself. My hair looks kinda medium brown at night. In the sun light, it looks kinda light brownish, orangish, reddish, etc. don't really know how to describe it. I like the golden tones in it too, it complements my warm skin tone. Well, hope this helps at least a little. Good luck!
Reply:yes use a lighter color

i wanted red hair on my dark brown hair

i got more of an auburn color

so the next time i went with a strawberry blonde and got the results i wanted

so i would say go for a blonde color but it wont be as blonde as it shows on the box and if it does get that blonde you could wait a few weeks then dye it the color you want
Reply:on the back of each box there are color charts. look for product to use for medium dark or light brown by going to black on the chart, then keep reading the different packages. you will eventually find the color on the back chart that you want. use that color to dye black to brown. example look through all the blond colors, find the color result that you want..
Reply:lighter color.

How much does a Medium -Sized farm cost?

My sister wants to buy a medium-sized farm. She is 18. And she has asked me to ask this question. She currently has $1,680 dollars

How much does a Medium -Sized farm cost?
Where and what kind? Medium sized? About 250 acres? Maybe about $6000 to $8000 an acre in Indiana. With corn and soybeans at near record prices, farms are better than gold currently. Should have been around back in the 80s when farms were being almost given away.
Reply:IIt depends on where and if you want pastureland or cropland. They arent always compatible for both. Ten to twelve acres would be about enough for 8 steers, or four cow/calf pairs depending on the area and range conditions. think she needs to keep saving.

http://www.nass.usda.gov/Publications/To...
Reply:$2000-$5000 per acre depending on soil quality. 600 acres is probably the minimum economical size. I know lots of people who farm over 3000 acres.

So don't buy a farm. Lease it for $100 an acre. Get a tractor and combine, used, for under $300,000, plus plow and wheeled bins....
Reply:How many acres does she want? If she wants 10 - 12 acres - for raising a few head of whatever livestock she's choosing - then she should save for quite a while.... She's gonna need about $250,000.00 or more.... depending on which state she's living in - or wants to live in... If she wants to raise crops and have enough to sell and earn money- She's gonna need a whole lot more than $250,000.00.

Is Bare Escentuals medium equivalent in color to Loreal "natural creamy 462" mineral makeup?
darling, your easiest solution is take this info to ULTA, where they sell both Loreal AND Bare Escentuals. Pull the product that she uses (the creamy natural Loreal) and ask the sales person if the LIGHT kit or the MEDIUM kit is more appropriate. Do you live near an ULTA? Check it out... http://www.ultacoupons.com/store/ If not, I do, and I'm willing to help you out. Getting the perfect Christmas gift is something I'm always willing to help with! :) Nikki

Actors and musicians: Can you see the audience in a medium lit place with a spotlight on you?

I was just curious to see if the inside theater was medium dark and there was a spotlight on the actors on stage...could you see the audience ? It's not completely dark, but could you see people from 20 rows back on the edge?

I know it sounds weird, but sometimes I see the people on stage looking at certain people, and I don't know if they can see the person clearly or not.

Actors and musicians: Can you see the audience in a medium lit place with a spotlight on you?
when i am on stage i can see the outlines of people farther back or higher in the balcony. The people up close about in the 1st 6 rows i can hardly make out their faces. When we act on a large stage and you see the actor talking or looking at someone it they can't really tell who the person is or really looks like when the lights are on. Its all a part of acting. making the audience feel conected w/ the characters.
Reply:Due to the lights, you can't see very well.
Reply:when i am on stage,

i rarely look out into the audience but, when i do (for some strange reason) i can usually see a BLUR,

[mainly because theatre lighting is warm and it burns when you look directly at them] of barely the first 5 rows.

but if the lighting were a little lighter, then yes, people on stage can see onto the audience. it all depends on the lighting on stage.
Reply:Depending on how far the first row of seats is from the stage, you may be able to see the first few. In most venues you wouldn't be able to see back very far. The angle of the spotlight will also factor in. If the spotlight is directly in the face of the performer, (s)he will see far less than if the light is at an angle or if the performer is standing at an angle.
Reply:most of the time you really can't see clearly because of the theater lights and the spotlight. when you can see it's usually only the first couple rows but it all depends on how far away the rows are from the stage and the angle of the stage lights and spotlight that are hitting you. personally when i perform i try to look into the audience but most of the time i can't distinguish who i'm looking at in particular......than at the end at least a handful of people think i was looking at them.
Reply:Usually I don't pay any attention to the audience, except for sounds such as laughter. I enjoy working in small theatre's where I'm practically standing right next to the audience so I really have to work not to make any kind of eye contact. Larger theatre's I can only see about the first couple of rows due to the lighting. Stage lights are a lot warmer and brighter than normal and it makes it real difficult to see anything too far out.
Reply:I guess I shouldn't answer this, since I don't wear my glasses on stage %26amp; can't see anything anyway, but if the spot is full on my face, I can see some of the audience, but not clearly. Again, that might be because I'm almost blind without my specs, but I've had other performers tell me the same thing.

I did a show once where I had to walk amongst the audience %26amp; do a little Q%26amp;A. I was spotted the whole time %26amp; had difficulty seeing faces clearly.

Hope that helps somewhat.
Reply:Unless your audience is quite close and they are well lit, then no you shouldn't be able to see them. As least not clearly, but just some shadows.

The spotlight at 100% intensity is quite blinding, so you should (in theory) see black and shadow.

I tend to just look out, but not focus on what I'm looking at because eventually your mind plays tricks and you'll visualise things that aren't there. (very off-putting!)
Reply:the stage lights are there for a reason, to be really Bright and make it so that the performers on stage cant see the audience so when I'm on stage i am just used to not seeing the audience by now
Reply:A spot usualy blacks out everything that is not on stage. Now most people will tell you you should not concentrate on the audience, but I do, a spot blacks them out.

Does anyone know the dosage of Frontline plus for a medium dog?

I have a large vial of Frontline plus for dogs.

I know that a small dog takes under 22 lbs 0.16 ml

a large dog 89 to 32 lbs takes 4.02 ml

What would a medium dog 23 lbs to 50 lbs take?

Does anyone know the dosage of Frontline plus for a medium dog?
It would be best to call your vet for proper dosage.
Reply:2.68 mil. but you can double check with your vet.

It would probably be best just to purchase the correct vial for the dogs weight so you don't under or over apply the medication.

http://www.petshed.com/products/item34.a...
Reply:My package says that each pipette for medium dogs contains 1.34 mL.
Reply:My dog is on the 0.045 f l oz and it covers dogs up to 44 pounds. Hope this helped if not you can go to the frontline website they should have some info on there also.
Reply:I don't have an answer to your question.. However I will say that you are very smart for using Frontline! Not only is it the best, But it is safe for your pets. I once purchased a "similar" product from Wal-Mart and it almost killed my cat! She is very fair, All white Siamese with bright blue eyes (one of those pets you don't see very often in a lifetime) and the stuff I used burned her really bad and caused her labored breathing etc. I was IRATE! She survived, then I used Frontline and that is the greatest!
Reply:wouldn't the dosage be on the poundage scale on the box???? if not u can always call your neighborhood pet store, that carries frontline or better yet just call the vets office i'm sure they'll have the correct answer ur looking for instead of guessing

What can I use to dye my black roots a medium ash brown?

I naturally have black hair but I consistently dye my hair to a medium ash brown. Unfortunately, I'm low on cash and my black roots are showing? Do any of those at-home root touch up dyes work? If i buy one a shade or two lighter, will it work? I just don't want to have to bleach it first. Please help? =)

What can I use to dye my black roots a medium ash brown?
you don't need to bleach it first

your roots naturally pick up color faster so it will work

the only reason you would have to bleach it if your hair was dyed black

natural hair can be dyed any color

the only problem you might run into is getting your roots the same color as the rest of your hair

Small to Medium sized dog that would be great for inside?

I'm trying to decide what type of dog that I want. I don't want a big dog, I want a dog that is small-medium and is good inside and is a real alert dog to every unusual sound around the house. Help with any ideas and please give me the name of the type of dog. Thanks

Small to Medium sized dog that would be great for inside?
I have a Pomeranian and works fine in my home I have a single bedroom, also you can consider Yorkshire, or maybe Mini Pincher.

Good luck.
Reply:Boston Terrier. They actually do better if most time is spent indoors in extreme weather. Mine is very curious and is starting to develop in to her protection mode. She barks very softly, more like a huff at weird noises or people that she doesn't recognize. She is never yappy. Clean and shed minimal. Funny, playful, and very friendly. Thats my two cents.
Reply:i didnt read all that crap you wrote, (no offence) but a chuawawa or mini pincher would be good
Reply:I would sugggest a chiwahua because they are small and alert. I would also think a maltese would be nice. They are calm and medium sized. Shitzues are less active, but small and lovable. I hope I helped! Enjoy your new pet!
Reply:pmeranian, cuzz they are very cute and playful and love to see u all the time they are spart very elegant. when i go to the park peple always want to pet him and they are adorable
Reply:Basset hound!
Reply:A boxer is perfect. big enough for intimidation.
Reply:a medium siz basset, we have one that is 38 pounds they do get up to 60 pounds tho, thye have the second best nose in the dog family ( bloodhounds being #1) and theya re very fun and can be very easy going, ours are a lot of fun, i have owned several bassets
Reply:Mini Schnauzer Or Mini poodle
Reply:a bichon frise ( i am not sure of the spelling) may be what you are looking for - good luck
Reply:I would suggest a chihuahua first, since they are sometimes hyper and will probably be alert to unusual noises. Also shih-tzus are great inside dogs, or daschounds.
Reply:The Jack Russel Terrier is the best small dog to have. They are incredibly smart, loyal, great with kids and easy to maintain. They are not as hyper and "squeaky" like a sissy chihuahua, and they are easier to maintain than a pom of bichon (dogs that shed A LOT). Jack Russels. Fun, fit, and friendly.
Reply:GEt a cocker spaniel because the smaler the stupider....

we have 1 for sale email me at natasha_cocker@yahoo.com ill send you pics and info
Reply:I would suggest a bichon frize. We have 2 in our family and are quite suited for the indoors.
Reply:I have had mainly small dogs and the two best small house pets are miniature schnauzers and poodles; have you considered going to a shelter or humane society to look for a little friend?
Reply:Schnauzer

Coocker Spaniel

French Poodle

Dash Hound

Answer a few questions and they will suggest a breed that is right for your lifestyle.
Reply:Perhaps a beagle or a cocker spaniel? A shiba inu? They are all quite different temperaments though.
Reply:there are tons of great dogs, but if you are leaving them inside a lot they have a tiny bladder a.k.a. they pee all the time!!
Reply:miniature schnauzer!
Reply:A poodle would be wonderful for the kind of lifestyle you described.
Reply:Here are a few suggestions::

Bassett Hounds

Bichon Frise - don't shed, hypoallergenic.

Pug

Boston Terrier

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - adorable!

Good luck!
Reply:French Bulldog. The make good watchdogs, but they are not yappy. The can only be inside due to their anatomy, but they are great little dogs. They average 20-25lbs, but they are very dense stocky dogs.
Reply:Golden Retreiver, great with everyone, kids adults, that might be the downfall though, they may be happy to see the burglar at your door lol. they aint a huge monster of a dog either.

Can I strip semi-permanent black color from my medium brown hair?

The black fades a little but not completely and the roots are coming in lighter (medium brown). Can I get the fake color out on my own?

Can I strip semi-permanent black color from my medium brown hair?
I had black hair for years simply because I didn't know how to get rid of it. When it comes to hair I'm a pretty DIY kinda girl. But when you're dealing with black dye, I think you should save yourself a lot of time and effort and just get it professionally done.
Reply:Yea go to Sally's Beauty Supply or any other and ask them. I forgot the name of the solution, but its in a little tiny packet. It should be somewhere in the front of the store. I think one of them is called blue something. There are different ones and you can do it yourself.
Reply:You can try a color stripper from Sallys or the drugstore, but be prepared to have to repeat it a few times (over the course of a few weeks). Black dye is almost always permanent when it stains your hair. Since your hair is medium brown, it probably will not look bad at all growing in.

Where in Australia can you learn to use encaustic medium?

Any workshops specific to this medium?

Where in Australia can you learn to use encaustic medium?
Look, the best place to find out is at your nearest college or University art department. I live nearest UNH right now, and go to the Linux User Group meetings on their campus. Despite having no other connection I've found faculty and staff very helpful about where to find reputable art supply stores and who's running what workshop in the state.

What's a good medium to light brown hair dye?

My natural hair color is very dark brown and I've been dying it medium brown with revlon's medium ash brown but it turns a little dark and has red undertones. I want something lighter and more chocolatey. Anyone know a good color?

What's a good medium to light brown hair dye?
Go to a PRO, they will do the best.
Reply:go one step down then what you're doing ...try the light brown hair color and work it with that first...

Will it look right if I dye my medium brown hair with a golden blonde dye?

I'm definitely NOT bleaching it; I just wanted to lighten my hair a few shades, so that I could get a reddish golden brown. Will this work? Has anyone tried? Will it look good or odd? Or will it work at all? The box recommended that those with medium to dark brown hair shouldn't use it, but I figured this was because it wouldn't show up with the intended golden blonde intended.

Will it look right if I dye my medium brown hair with a golden blonde dye?
The reason the box doesn't recommend it for medium to dark brown hair is because it will turn out brassy. Blonde hair colors don't have a high enough dye load to control underlying pigments at darker levels, which tend to be orange or red when hair is lightened. If you're looking for a lighter brown I would use a lighter brown color.
Reply:if you have medium brown hair and you dye it blonde it will lighten it a few shades. if you want to dye it strawberry blonde-ish brown ish then just dye it that color and it should be ok... unless ur hair is already redish brown then just dye it blonde and it will come out.
Reply:That stuff can be pretty strong so watch-out. Personally I would love to achieve that color, but my hair is a tad too dark.

The overall effect depends on your skin-tone and face build. I imagine that this would work better the tanner you are.
Reply:I recommend going to a salon

and getting it highlighted throughout your hair

and just tell them you want it to look mostly blonde

because it might look to intense at first
Reply:if you get it professionally done then yes but if you just go to the corner drug store and get a box of hair dye and try to go from brown to blonde it will have an orangey tint! For future refrence if you go from blonde to brunette it will have a hue [greenish] tint if you use the box treatment!

How can i shrink my jacket from a medium to a bit smaller than that, so that it fits tight from the sleeves ?

the jacket is made of 80% cotton. and 20%polyester. and the size is medium.

How can i shrink my jacket from a medium to a bit smaller than that, so that it fits tight from the sleeves ?
That's very difficult to do. The way most jackets are cut, if you try to shrink it, it will shorten, but the width won't change. If you want the sleeves to be tighter, you would be better off altering the jacket to provide whatever fit you wish. It isn't that difficult to do.
Reply:wash it in hot water and dry it in high heat
Reply:i do not think it can be done. most cotton items are made from preshrunk cotton. and polyester does not shrink but compress and sort of bubble..

i think it would be best to take it to a seamstress and have it altered.

I bought the bare minerals. is it okay to mix the medium tan and the tan foundation?

i have the medium tan foundation, and the tan foundation. is it okay to first put the tan foundation then apply the medium tan foundation on top? or should i just stick to only one foundation at a time?

I bought the bare minerals. is it okay to mix the medium tan and the tan foundation?
It is okay to mix. By mixing you are able to customize the foundations to match your skin tone. Instead of applying them separately you might want to just mix them together. You could just mix part of the medium tan with the tan..instead of mixing it all at once to see if it matches your skin well.
Reply:yes it is as long as you dont mix to much of it
Reply:It was created to be mixed. The only part that makes it difficult is how. I would hesitate to layer to colors. By putting on the light first then the dark last you may as well not put on the light at all, try doing it in reverse.

Just as thought
Reply:They're actually made to mix. You're supposed to mix them so you can find the perfect color for your skin.
Reply:yah you can mix them ! i thought the same thing when i first bought mine....

they gave you two different colours so that you can match it to your perfect shade of your skin...
Reply:i THiNK YOOH MiGHT WANT TO STiCK WiTH ONE AT A TiME BECAUSE iT MiGHT MESS UP YOUR SKiN iF YOOH USE TWO. ;]
Reply:Hey max babe sice u dont allow messaging i hav eto talk to u this way. PLEASE e-mail me back at josue_manjarrez@yahoo.com. DONT WORRY I'm NOT A FREAK. PLEASE
Reply:I have the same colors. If you want the perfect color you, you can mix them both to get your perfect shade. This is why they give you two similiar shades for your skintone, so you can mix. If one tone is great for you, I suggest using one in the Summer and then one in the Winter when your skin gets a shade or two lighter or darker. Your best bet is to mix them both because most people never buy there exact color in foundation, so its great that BE gives you two choices to work with. I personally use the Honey Bisque concealer as a foundation also because its alil darker and more natural for meeh. I suggest to sit down and experiment which one looks best and check it out in natural sunlight..Good LUck:)
Reply:did you get the starter kit? i'm thinking about buying a tan starter kit. how does it work for you? sorry this isn't much of an answer... =] email back please =D hahaha
