I just recently tried to dye my hair a lighter blonde from a medium light brown and nows its strawberry

strawberry hair is soo pretty : )


thats my natural color, i miss it kinda. lol


but i did my hair lighter now too you jsut gotta find the right color, everones hair takes it differently. make sure tehres no ash in it or it will turn greyish. go with a good brand and maybe go into a salon, or jsut go in and ask what would you reccomend to get a lighter blonde for a at hmoe kit!

Home hair color is fine for people who don’t care what result they get. There’s a lot of chemistry behind hair color, and the average person doesn’t possess that kind of knowledge. You need a professional colorist if you want to reach a specific color, especially since you have already treated your hair once.
Reply:my hair has red undertones to it too so i feel your pain.


if you go to sally or another beauty supply store they have these little packets called "unred" that you mix with your hair dye to keep it from going red.


if you mix that with the hair dye of the color you want then you should be all set. but, like was said, stay away from the ash blondes and if you get a golden blonde color it brings out your red undertones.


so to be really safe i would use the "unred" and go with a cool blonde color.
