comforter is a combination of light blue, medium blue and chocolate brown; the carpeting is a medium gray. There is an adjoining bathroom. What should I use there.

As there's blue and brown already, why mix in more colors? That would be risky unless you are a pro at this.


So pick colours and shades from the comforter, according to taste. Pale blues are best if the room lacks natural light. If there's lots of light, try darker, brighter shades.


Don't worry about the gray; anything will go with a neutral color.

Reply:i would say mix white paint with your own blue tint e.g. phalo blue which you can buy at a paint store. it's less than $3 for a tube and doing this makes sure your paint stays mostly white with the right amount of blue (or whatever tint you choose) that you want and not a drop more
