What color highlights should i get for my medium brown hair?

i have medium brown hair and i want to get some highlights. But i dont know what color i want something that is like kinda edgy or funky but not to crazy like dying my whole head orange. but something that is cool and kinda crazy.

How about some black highlights? In just the right areas with the right style (lots of layers or a choppy cut) that would be quite the contrast.

Reply:Get a highlight/lowlight done. For the highlight use a caramel color and use a deep red for the lowlight. I did it and I have medium brown hair too and OMG everyone said I looked great. I thought I looked great too and thats really all that mattered. Get the colors thick more like streaks and it will give you that edgy/funky look you are goin' for.
