What's a good hair color to dye for someone with medium to light brown hair?
green is on the opposite side of the color spectrum as red. so to make your eyes stand out , go for tones in the red family.
Reply:Honestly, if you want my advice, it would be not to use hair dye at all, unless it's a natural one. They are so full of chemicals, and can lead to cancer. Please be careful.
Reply:make it black black is a pretty color i love the color black

What kind of dog to get? I want something that is medium sized, active, but is generally well trained. Ideas?

I want something medium sized, active, generally well trained. The only problem is that currently I only make about $200/mo, but I can work more at my other job, or pull a second job. I have money that I can spend, but I don't want to keep pulling money out of my bank account and would rather just use some of my paycheck to pay for the dog. I have family that may help pay for the dog, but I would rather want to make sure that I could pay for it by myself, and not have to rely on others.

Also, I don't have too much yard space, but live really close to an elementary school and state park. Any ideas on a good dog for me, a first time owner?

Maybe a American cocker spaniel
Reply:First NO dog regardless of breed/mix comes "generally well trained" . Dogs aren't born trained it is up to the owner to do the proper training by attending obedience classes and by learning all they can about appropriate behavior in dogs.

Secondly I recommend checking out the shelters and rescues. They can help match you with just the right dog for you.
Reply:I would recomend a yellow or black labrador, or maybe a golden retriever, but the lab might be a bit more active. Or you can get a dalmation. Search on the internet, and heres some websites you could try.

I personally really like terriers. They have big personalities and are great companions.

You'll have to train the dog yourself. Maybe what you're asking is a "trainable" dog. Some are easier than others. Border collies, I've heard, are the smartest breed. I'm not sure if that's accurate but I could see how they would be.

Dogs are a lot of work. It doesn't seem like it when you're just thinking about "ok, I'll feed them, give them water, and take them for a walk". Dogs don't have a set schedule like you and things ALWAYS come up so just be prepared for set backs, unexpected vet visits = $$$$, and anything else that could possibly go wrong probably will at some point.

Not to discourage you. Dogs are great but they are a lot of work so just keep that in mind!
Reply:a lemon beagle, a schnouzer, a jack russel, a medium poodle
Reply:I think you should get a shih-tzu. they are medium sized and they will not grow any more unless they eat too much. They are very active, but if you buy it as a puppy You will have to train it to not poop or pee in the house. They are also very very very adorable
Reply:A dauschund is a good chioce for you. They only grow up to 35 pounds and are very loyal.
Reply:Find breeds you like and do your research on those breeds. You'll get a well trained dog out of any breed as long as you take the time to train it. Lets say by taking it to dog training classes. and again most dogs are active. As of cost wise. if you want a healthy dog get one from a breeder, although they cost more usually you get some kind of health guarentee for a year or two. where pet stores you get maybe 7 days. Just do your research and be prepaired for unexpected cost dogs.
Reply:Well, first of all consider the expences. Call a local vet or two to ask about prices that you wll be charged for basic services in the first year. If you cannot afford those charges, you may only put your new puppy at rist of many viruses and diseases. I do know for a fact (I manage an animal hospital) that services ( including neutering/spaying and full vaccines/flea protection and all the new puppy toys and leashes, etc.) will cost from $700.00 in the first 8 months. Then you have to put in mind that yearly vaccination updates and more flea protection will cost another $200.00 or so. And what if your dog swallows something or breaks a hip, leg, etc. What if it gets hit by a car? For each of those right there, you are looking at $1500.00 for treatment EASY. So, I do understand you really really want a dog. But also, remember to be responsible and fair to the dog. I don't think your family will be that happy to foot an emergency bill, especially when it will cost sooo much. Maybe you could wait another 2-3 years and get yourself together, raise your finances, and than consider a puppy. As far as the breed, I would suggest some kind of a sheep dog. An australian sheepdog usually doesnt go over 40lbs, is beutiful, smart, but does need quite a bit of excercise. Good luck!
Reply:A dachshund would be a great choice they are low in price and they love to play you will have to train him,but once hes got it its going to stay with him for a long time. good luck with your new dog!
Reply:Well first of all sir I wouldn't recommend you get any dog if are having slow money coming in, you as a human have to supply them with A LOT of Food, he has to visit the vet which I remind is not cheap there's much more also! but If you feel you can handle that, I would recommend that you DON'T get a dog that have to be groomed alo, because you would have to take him or her to get groomed every now and then which is money! you need a dog that don't mind staying in the house and doesn't have to get that much walking to let out that much energy if you are thinking about getting a big dog like a german shepard or border collie DON'T they need alot of room to run to release all that energy!

Also dogs don't like to be left alone for a long period of time if you were talking about getting DOUBLE jobs which means TIME that he has to spend alone!

I hoped I helped!

How to get a big shoulders with medium weights?

Ok! i have been doing with heavy weights for my shoulders for the past 2 weeks on my friend"s advice!!

but started to feel some pain.so i have decided to use medium weights. Will medium weights help me to get that canon ball shoulder?

If so how many reps and sets I should aim for?

How to get a big shoulders with medium weights?
hypertrophy (thats when the muscle grows) is best attained at a weight that you can do no more than 6-10 reps. working out heavy ( 5 reps or less) will build strength. over 10 reps will build muscular endurance. 6- 10 reps is where most bodybuilders stay. also to get big you cannot forget to eat. the guys you see on tv didn't get that way by weights alone. eat big, work out hard, and you will reach your goal.
Reply:I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at

http://easy-slim.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.

Reply:You can get your shoulders tone with medium weights by doing reps in the 10-12 range, however you won't get big anytime soon from doing "medium" weights

try getting a membership to your local gym, working out at your school/colleges gym, or getting new weights if your goal of "canon ball shoulders" is important to you

How often should you cut medium-length hairstyles?

I've had below shoulder-length hair for a few years, and recently cut it to about a 1/2 inch above my shoulders. I know long hair is supposed to be trimmed every 6-8 weeks, but how often should medium-length hair be trimmed? I was thinking it was something like every 4 weeks, but it seems like that is not often enough to maintain the style. My hair is also kind of dry and damaged. I've been taking biotin, a b vitamin that helps strengthen hair, and I think it makes it grow a little faster. Also does anyone have tips for strengthening hair that will not make it grow faster, like certain supplements? I really want to maintain this current length, and I want it to be healthy, too.

How often should you cut medium-length hairstyles?
Cut it every month and get Herbal Essence "Dangerously Straight" (or curly, pending on your hair).I blow dry and straighten my hair everyday so it can get pretty damaged, but this method usually works for me.
Reply:Get "Herbal Essance," and cut your hair every 3-4 weeks. Hope it works!
Reply:Every month.
Reply:it is fine to get it cut about every six weeks, it depends if you color it, how often you wash it, if you swim and how many vitamins you take. The best bet is every 6 weeks but talk to your stylist who would have a better recommendation for you because she would be the one person able to see your hair and tell you

With underwear, does a size 5 convert to small or medium?

I'm trying to purchase underwear online, but the sizes are different from the underwear I usually buy. The underwear I have now are fives, and the sizes on this site are extra small, small, medium and large. The site doesn't have any sizing charts.

With underwear, does a size 5 convert to small or medium?
Size 5 = small.

Size 7= medium

Size 9= large

6 = Medium

7 = Large
Reply:Size 5 is medium
Reply:M
Reply:It is medium.
Reply:Fives are small.
Reply:It would probably be small or medium. If it is 100% cotton..get medium and it will shrink.
Reply:i'm pretty sure it's a small because i have a few size 5 underwears and i fit really well in small and barely x-small.

Is it safe to eat a medium rare burger?

For lunch today I decided to try a burger at a sandwich place I normally frequent. They asked me how I like it, I said medium well. Brought it back to the office and was starving, needed to eat to have my antibiotics for a sinus infection I have. The burger was completely pink throughout the middle. Rather than walk back to complain of this, I needed to eat immediately as I had the shakes, so I ate it. Now is it ok to eat a medium rare burger? If they ask how I want it, could I be assured that it is safe?

Is it safe to eat a medium rare burger?
it's safer to eat rare steak, or so i was told by ServSafe when i took that class. the reason is this: a steak, when processed, is a piece of meat with a clearly defined set of outside edges. if, and when the meat comes in contact with bacteria during processing, the bacteria cling to the outside of the meat. when you cook it, if you don't cut into it before hand and handle it properly, presumably you would kill the bacteria on the outside of the meat. now, hamburger is all ground up so if the meat had come in contact with bacteria during processing, the bacteria was ground and mixed all throughout the meat when it was ground into hamburger. but...this obviously isn't always the case. i've eaten hamburgers on the rare side. hamburger isn't....say..... chicken, you know. proper handling is key.
Reply:I have been eating very rare hamburgers and rare other meats for many years now and have never gotten sick.
Reply:most of the time yea but i wouldnt suggest it
Reply:If it was from a place you trust, then it should be fine.
Reply:You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. :-)
Reply:It's not the doneness of the burger that determines whether or not you might get sick, but rather the presence of pathogenic bacteria such as E coli. These bacteria may be released from the intestines during slaughter and can contaminate the meat. In the case of a steak, the bacteria are only on the outside and are destroyed during the cooking process - the meat can be very rare on the inside, but that is ok since the bacteria were only on the outside. In the case of hamburger, the meat is ground up and the bacteria can be throughout the meat. Hamburgers should be cooked until an internal temperature of 160F is reached. Anything less and you are taking risks with your health.
Reply:Burgers are not your best option for pink. Steak is ok, the grinding process to make burger can allow alot of bacteria into the meat. If the temp of the meat gets high enough it's ok. If you frequent the place and it's clean, you will most likely be ok. Medium well is safer.
Reply:That's how I eat it. Its all has to do with the internal temp. Rare beef isn't bad for you..but its not the best for you, a little pink in the middle is good. You won't get worms.
Reply:Yes, very safe. Have you ever heard of steak tartar? Raw ground beef with seasonings. Very tasty. Also, Carpachio. Raw beef sliced thin then marinated. The meat you eat though is only as safe as the place that is prepareing it. If the establishment is not clean or employees hands are not wahsed, you do run a risk of contracting the E Coli bacteria. On a whole, I'd say eat up.
Reply:If the place is clean and you have had no problem from them before. Cant see a problem, I often eat rare to medium home made burgers but I trust my butcher.
